ACKNOWLEDGE THE GOOD IN YOU

God has deposited so much good in you—gifts, abilities, wisdom, and divine virtues that make you exceptional. Yet, many live without recognizing the treasures within them, often looking outward for validation instead of embracing what God has already placed in them. Acknowledging the good in you is not pride; it is aligning with God's truth and walking in the fullness of His purpose for your life.

The world conditions people to focus on their flaws and inadequacies, but God’s Word reveals your true identity. In Christ, you are healed (Isaiah 53:5), victorious (1 John 5:4), and filled with divine wisdom (1 Corinthians 1:30). Acknowledging the good in you means recognizing these truths and allowing them to shape how you think and act.

THE POWER OF SELF-ACKNOWLEDGMENT
The word “ACKNOWLEDGE” is translated from the Greek word “EPIGNOSIS”, meaning to have full discernment, a recognition. It is a precise and accurate understanding of what God has made you and what He has deposited in you through the Gospel.
Our opening scripture, Philemon 1:6, highlights that the communication of your faith becomes effective when you acknowledge the good in you. This means in Christ, there are certain good things within you that God wants you to take knowledge of. That is, as you recognize and affirm the gifts, talents, and divine nature within you, your faith is strengthened, and you become more impactful in life.

Instead of dwelling in weaknesses, sickness, low self-esteem, start celebrating your strengths. Speak life-giving words over yourself: “I am wise and full of understanding.”, “I am Healed”, “I have the mind of Christ, and I walk in divine excellence.” As you declare these truths, you activate the power of God in you to make manifest that which you have declared.

HOW TO ACKNOWLEDGE THE GOOD IN YOU
Acknowledging the good in you is a deliberate practice that aligns your mindset, words, and actions with God’s truth. Here’s how you can do it:
1. RECOGNIZE YOUR IDENTITY IN CHRIST
Just as 2 Corinthians 5:17 (KJV) says: “If any man be in Christ, He is a new creature: old things are passed away and all things are new”. The life of Christ is a life of unending goodness, and when you are in Christ, your true identity is found in God’s Word. You are His workmanship (Ephesians 2:10), created for good works. Instead of focusing on weaknesses, embrace the truth that you are healed, victorious, and full of wisdom. When you begin to see yourself as God sees you, your confidence and impact increase.

2. STUDY AND SPEAK THE WORD
The word of God remains the reliable source for you to acquire this kind of knowledge. 2 Timothy 2:15 says “Study to shew thyself approved unto God….” As you study the word, don’t keep quiet, declare daily, “I am healed” (Isaiah 53:5), “I am fearfully and wonderfully made” (Psalm 139:14). Instead of dwelling on limitations, identify your strengths, write them down, and use them. The more you acknowledge and use your gifts, the more they grow.

3. EXPRESS GRATITUDE TO GOD
Gratitude opens your eyes to see the good in you, and one of the ways of being gratitude is sharing your testimony. Pastor Chris said “I’m not asking you to give your testimony because we need more stories; I’m asking you to give it because your testimony is your first way of giving glory to God for your miracle and also keeping your healing.” In this season of testifying, the Festival of Miracles is on, share your testimony, inspire others instead of comparing yourself to them. Thank God for the unique miracle He has given you; celebrate what God has done in your life, and let itlfpt inspire Him to do more.

Walking in the fullness of the blessing of the Gospel requires active acknowledgement, full and precise knowledge of the good things within you in Christ. As you recognize your identity in Christ, study and speak the Word, and express gratitude to God, you are on the right part of acknowledging the good in you. Consciously acknowledge the good in you, and your faith will grow stronger, your impact will increase, and you will walk in greater dimensions of God's purpose for your life. You are full of divine treasures—recognize them, and use them to glorify God!
