THE CONNECTION BETWEEN FAITH AND HEALING
Throughout history, faith and healing have been deeply intertwined. Healing has always been a subject of deep interest, spanning across medical, psychological, and spiritual domains. Faith is a law (Romans 3:27). In the realm of faith, healing is often seen as the result of an unwavering trust in divine power. Whether through divine intervention, the power of positive thinking, or a strong sense of hope, faith has been a fundamental force in the healing process. But how does faith contribute to healing?
In the context of healing, faith serves as a bridge between the natural and the supernatural, enabling individuals to receive divine restoration. Using the woman with the issue of blood as a case study. In the bible, Jesus healed many people based on their faith but there’s something spectacular about this woman.
Before she touched Jesus, she harnessed the power of positive thinking (Faith) and thought to herself “For she thought, if I just touch His clothing, I will get well” (Mark 5:28 AMP), and immediately she touched His outer robe, her flow of blood dried up. This was no ordinary belief; it was a deep conviction that bypassed doubt and fear. Her faith was not passive—it was active, for many were around Jesus, but only the woman received healing because of her faith.
In different scriptures, our Lord Jesus revealed that all we need is faith. He demonstrated that with faith, even the forces of nature are subject to us. We can do the same and even more because we have the same spirit of faith (2 Corinthians 4:13). Our faith is real, it is substance, it has power and the beautiful thing is that every Christian has faith. We all have the same measure of faith (Romans 12:3), and with your faith, you can do anything. You can change anything. Sickness and the forces of nature are subject to you.
Beloved, let this encourage you to trust God wholeheartedly, regardless of how long you have suffered or how impossible the situation seems. Just as Jesus responded to the woman’s faith, He still responds today to those who reach out in faith. Those who embrace faith often experience the transformative power of divine healing, proving that faith is not just a concept but a living force that brings restoration and wholeness. Healing is available, and faith is the key that unlocks it. Activate your faith now!
