Pastor Chris Oyakhilome consistently remind us of the divine immunity available to us as children of God. This immunity is not just a promise but a reality that we can live in every day. As believers, we are not subject to the same conditions that plague the world. We are called to a higher life, one of divine health, protection, and preservation. But what exactly is divine immunity, and how can we walk in it?

Divine immunity is God's supernatural protection, covering every aspect of our lives—spiritually, physically, emotionally and financially. Pastor Chris made us understand that as believers, we have been lifted from the kingdom of darkness into the Kingdom of God's dear Son (Colossians 1:13). In this new realm, we no longer have to live subject to the same afflictions and sicknesses that the world faces. We have been granted dominion over disease, disaster, and all forms of destruction. This is the believer's heritage in Christ, and it’s a life of victory and dominion. All of these can only be gotten through Salvation. What is Salvation?

Pastor Chris said, "Salvation is to deliver, make whole (complete), and preserve." This is not just spiritual salvation but the complete package of God’s deliverance for every area of life. When you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you receive eternal life, and with that life comes divine immunity from the destructive forces of the world. Romans 10:9-10 affirms, "If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." It is through this confession and belief that you are ushered into the Kingdom of God, where divine immunity becomes your reality.

This is why the new birth is so critical—it’s the entrance into a life where God’s glory and excellence become your daily experience, as it is not just a promise of freedom from sickness but the empowerment to live an abundant life in every area. To walk in divine immunity, it’s crucial to understand the rights and privileges we have in Christ. Here are key principles for walking in this divine reality:

1. MEDITATE ON GOD’S WORD
The Word of God is our first line of defense. Pastor Chris emphasizes that the Word is health to our bodies and life to our spirits. Proverbs 4:20-22 says, “My son, give attention to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; keep them in the midst of your heart; for they are life to those who find them, and health to all their flesh.” Meditate on scriptures related to divine health, protection, and provision to strengthen your faith in God’s promises.

2. SPEAK WORDS OF LIFE
Our words have power. He encourages us to speak words of faith and declare that we are immune to sickness, failure, and poverty. "We are indestructible. We received eternal life when we received Christ. Christ in you, the hope of glory." Mark 11:23 reinforces this. Speak life over your circumstances with Faith, and they will align with God's promises for your life.

3. LIVE BY THE SPIRIT
The Holy Spirit is your guide and protector. He reveals things to come and shields you from unseen dangers. By cultivating a relationship with the Holy Spirit, you are constantly led into safety, away from harm. Romans 8:14 says, “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.” Let the Holy Spirit guide your steps, and you will always be in the right place at the right time.

4. WALK IN LOVE AND FORGIVENESS
Love and forgiveness are important when you walk in divine immunity, 1 John 4:16 referenced it. Love is a protective shield against the attacks of the enemy and forgiveness is key to ensuring that no door is opened for the enemy to strike. Unforgiveness and hatred, on the other hand, opens the door for the enemy to strike. Pastor Chris encourages believers to let go of offenses and choose to live in love. “I'm living the life of Christ and in the love of Christ the best it can be lived on this earth. We are members of His body. I know who I am.”

If you want to experience divine immunity, the first step is to give your life to Christ. Salvation is the gateway to experiencing all that God has in store for you—divine health, protection, peace etc. When you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you step into the Kingdom of God, where divine immunity is your right. Romans 10:9-10 says, “If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.” Are you ready to walk in divine immunity? Say this prayer of salvation:

O Lord God, I come to You in the Name of Jesus Christ. I believe with all my heart in Jesus Christ, the Son of the living God. I believe He died for me, and God raised Him from the dead. I believe He is alive today. I confess with my mouth that Jesus Christ is the Lord of my life from this day. Through Him, and in His Name, I have eternal life; I am born again! Thank You, Lord, for saving my soul! I am now a child of God. Hallelujah!
