COUNTER THE OTHER VOICE

After experiencing the life-changing power of healing, it’s common to face doubt or lingering thoughts that challenge the reality of your healing. You may hear an internal voice whispering, "You aren't healed," or "It's not real." These thoughts can be unsettling, especially after you've felt the transformation during the healing streams. But remember, these voices are not the truth—they are distractions designed to undermine your faith and confidence. So how do you counter that voice? How do you remain steadfast in your healing, fully convinced that what you’ve received is real? Here are key steps, based on Pastor Chris’ teachings, to counter that voice and walk boldly in your healing:

RECOGNIZE THE SOURCE OF THE DOUBT
The first step to countering that negative voice is to recognize where it’s coming from. Doubt and fear are tactics often used to steal your joy and keep you from embracing your newfound wholeness. Understand that just because a thought comes into your mind doesn’t make it true. These doubts are not your own; they are external influences attempting to pull you away from your faith. “Guard your heart with all diligence, for out of it flow the issues of life.” — Pastor Chris.

SPEAK THE TRUTH OUT LOUD
When the voice of doubt comes, respond with the truth of your healing. Use your words to affirm what you’ve received. According to Pastor Chris, “Your mouth is a weapon; it’s a tool for activating and maintaining the miracles you’ve received”. When you declare your healing, you reaffirm the victory of Christ in your body. Say things like:
"I am healed!"
"I believe in the power of God’s healing."
"No weapon formed against me will prosper." (Isaiah 53:5)
Speaking the truth out loud silences the other voice. There is power in your words, and when you declare what you know is true, the doubt has no place to linger.

MEDITATE ON SCRIPTURE
Pastor Chris often teaches that it is essential to saturate yourself with the Word of God after receiving your healing. The enemy will try to introduce negative thoughts, but when your mind is full of the Word, those thoughts cannot take root. With scriptures like;
"By His stripes, I am healed" (Isaiah 53:5)
"I will restore health to you and heal you of your wounds" (Jeremiah 30:17) These verses strengthen your belief and keep your focus on the truth. Meditating on them daily builds a shield of faith that blocks the lies from taking root “Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God” (Romans10:17). The more you meditate on the Word, the stronger your faith becomes, and the less room doubt has to enter.

GUARD YOUR MIND
Be mindful of what you allow into your thoughts after your healing. Negative reports, fearful conversations, or even personal worries can plant seeds of doubt. Stay in an atmosphere of faith. Surround yourself with people who believe in the healing you’ve received. Listen to uplifting messages and testimonies from others who have been healed, which will remind you that you’re not alone in this journey. As Pastor Chris often says, “Refuse to consider the contrary evidence; the Word is the final authority”. Even if a symptom tries to return, declare boldly, “I am healed, and I remain healed!”

CONTINUE TO ACT IN FAITH
Pastor Chris reminds us “Faith without works is dead”, so continue to act in line with your healing. Move, live, and walk as one who is healed. If the voice says, “You aren’t healed,” counter it by doing the things that healed people do. Reaffirm your healing with actions. The more you act on your healing, the less room doubt has to grow. By continuing to walk in the light of your healing, you will starve your doubts and feed your faith.

STAY THANKFUL
Gratitude is a powerful weapon against doubt. When you hear that other voice saying, “You aren’t healed,” start thanking God for your healing. Say, “Thank you, Lord, for healing me.” The attitude of gratitude shifts your focus from the doubt to the blessing you’ve received, and it reinforces your faith in what has already been done. In one of Pastor Chris’ teachings, he said, “A thankful heart is a magnet for miracles. It keeps you in the consciousness of the supernatural”. Gratitude strengthens your faith and keeps you connected to the miracle.

RESIST AND STAND FIRM
James 4:7 says, “Resist the devil, and he will flee from you”. That other voice is persistent, but it doesn’t have to win. Resist it every time it tries to come back. Stand firm in your faith, and don’t give in to the lie. The more you resist, the stronger you’ll become in your belief, and eventually, the voice will fade away.

As Pastor Chris teaches, the voice that says you aren’t healed is powerless. You’ve received your healing by faith, and no lie from the enemy can take that away from you. By recognizing its source, speaking the truth, meditating on God’s Word, guarding your mind, acting in faith, staying thankful, and standing firm, you can silence that voice for good. Your healing is real, it is permanent, and you have the victory in Christ. Stay strong, stay confident, and live boldly in the fullness of your healing.
